About us
Assize Data Ltd builds products and services from UK legal and court data. We’re a small team, and you’d work directly with the founder.
The role
We run our litigation in-house rather than through an external law firm, and we need someone organised to help manage it. You’ll keep our cases moving and make sure nothing is missed, including:
- Tracking deadlines, hearing dates and court directions, and making sure they’re met
- Organising case documents, evidence and disclosure
- Preparing hearing bundles, chronologies and case summaries
- Drafting letters and documents for review
- Researching procedure and case law
- Keeping clear records of where each matter stands
The company conducts its own litigation through its director. You’ll support that work, and everything you prepare is reviewed before it’s used.
No qualifications needed
You don’t need a law degree or any legal qualification. You’ll be supporting our own litigation, not providing legal services to anyone else, so this isn’t a role that has to be done by a regulated lawyer. We’ll train you on court procedure and on our cases as you go.
How we work
- Remote. You can work from anywhere in the UK.
