Making a request about your personal data
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or to stop using it. Our privacy notice sets out your rights in full.
To make a request, email or write to us with:
- your name and how we can contact you
- what you are asking us to do
- any details that will help us find your data, such as the email address you used, or the website or service concerned
We may ask for proof of identity if we cannot otherwise be sure the request comes from you. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, or of receiving anything we reasonably need to confirm who you are. If a request is complex we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you if we do. There is normally no charge.
Raising a concern
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, or with our response to a request, please tell us at dataprotection@assizedata.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome without undue delay.
Complaining to the ICO
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at any time.
